After completing your NFIRS report, you will need to complete the user fields associated with the notifications report.

Select the User Fields button to open the user fields.

Based on the incident type you may need to complete the Station 8 Response tab. Complete them in the normal manner and proceed to the Notifications tab.

The list of incident types is listed at the end of this document.

If you attempt to answer that no notifications need to be made for the incident types listed below you will get an error condition on the field.

For the Conditions That Need Reported use your best judgment when making your selections.

Once you have filled in all of the fields on the tab, save and close the user field’s screen.

After the user field screen closes complete your NFIRS report.

An automated task will e-mail a notification report to the appropriate agencies for their review.
